AD | Meet the new Clip & Go Travel Range – Now on Kickstarter

GoCustomized

If there’s one thing I love it’s a clever travel product, and the new Clip & Go Travel Bundle from WRAPS looks like a brilliant one! They’ve just launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund the new project, and they asked me to help spread the word.

UPDATE: The fund-raising campaign for this product was cancelled, so it appears this product is no longer going ahead.

Meet the Products

The Clip & Go travel bundle includes three awesome products, which all attach using a nifty carabiner clip. So you can clip them to your belt, your bag strap, your backpack… basically anywhere that you can attach a clip! These are the three products in the range…

1. Clip & Go Power Bank

First up, and probably the most important, is a travel power bank. The last thing you want when you’re on the road is for your phone to die – especially if you’re in the middle of nowhere. Between my travel apps, and my mild social media addiction, I’m pretty dependant on my phone when I travel. So I NEVER travel without at least one power bank in my bag. But they’re pretty easy to lose, so I love the idea of clipping mine to a bag strap – such a simple, but genius, extra feature.

The power bank in the Clip & Go travel bundle comes with 5000 mAh power, which is enough for at least one full charge. It’s also lightweight, portable, and wearable thanks to the clip.

2. The POD – Bluetooth Speaker

Next up is The POD, a teeny-tiny little bluetooth speaker that promises to deliver big noise! WRAPS are specialists in anti-tangle headphones, so they probably know what they’re doing when it comes to sound. And they promise that The POD will deliver outstanding sound quality.

Portable speakers are brilliant for travel. You can start a party anywhere, or just provide some background music if you’re hanging out in your hostel! I’ve used one to play tunes during a long car ride when our radio packed up, and to blast out a bit of cheesy pop on an overnight boat tour. This one sounds great – with up to 480 minutes of playback time it should see you through any travel situation. And the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) feature means you can pair to PODs together for simple surround sound on the go!

3. Emergency Power Cables

Last but not least, the Clip & Go power bundle also includes a little set of emergency power cables. You can get both USB type C and lightning connector versions, and all the cables are certified by Apple so you know they’re safe to use! What I like about this kit is that the cables come tucked inside the swatch of fabric, which gives them a little bit of extra protection. I can’t tell you how many cables I’ve worn down (or completely broken) by storing them in a tangle at the bottom of my bag. This clip version looks like the perfect solution!

How to Get Your Hands on One

The WRAPS Clip & go product range launched on Kickstarter but fundraising was cancelled shortly afterwards. At this stage it appears the product isn’t going ahead. I will keep you posted and if things change, I’ll update this post.
